As far back as I can remember I have been influenced by dreams and the trials of life around me. Being someone with high energy I have needed to find an outlet for that. Painting and drawing have been the most successful outlet of that I have found thus far.

 As a painter the images and feelings that come to me find me in dreams and then it is only a matter of time and effort to translate these things onto canvas or paper. When I do it successfully it feels like I have captured a dream. My main medium is oil paint. I enjoy the consistency and time I am given for drying time. It also feels nice to be using a medium that’s been around so long. It’s like I become connected to something bigger when using this medium.

My work has been the most successful when I let go. When I choose to lose myself in the concept and try to achieve my goal without expectation I receive the best results. To capture dreams is my goal and to delve deeper into them is my journey.
